Cylinder

The cylinder is the heart of your scooter, moped, or motorbike's engine. The piston moves up and down inside the cylinder, and together they determine the stroke and cylinder volume — and thus directly the power and handling of your vehicle. A worn or damaged cylinder means a loss of compression and a poorly running engine.

Cylinders are highly brand- and model-specific: a cylinder for a Minarelli horizontal block will not fit a Tomos A35 or a Kreidler. Also pay attention to the bore (diameter in mm) and the volume in cc.
